Hmh that's an interesting link. So this poster thinks SecuROM is the standard disk copy protection already used in the Sims 2 expansions. Well...I don't think so. Suppose it was that way, then I really wouldn't understand why it caused such an uproar when Spore was announced to come out with SecuROM. No, I still believe SecuROM goes some steps further...quite a few steps too far, mind you.

I...have no knowledge in this area. So I can't say anything about that. But I can say I am completely and utterly confused. Wink

Anyway, I have a question: Do you have to register EVERY EP and the BASE GAME or only the base game, or only the last EP installed?

I'd reckon you would, since it was announced that every EA Game should come out equipped with SecuROM from now on...That would suggest that indeed every expansion pack needs to be registered...I don't know how they want to solve this problem, honestly...That'd be darn boring to go register the basegame and all expansions you bought so far before you ever get to play. Oh dear what a tiresome idea...  {unsure}
