LOL! Well, here we say touch wood, and then I touch my head! (Basically symbolising I'm so dumb that my brain is wood).

did u know a new word in the dictionary is "plank" to indicate being dumb?  Therefore it works for your wood thing like a plank of wood.  I just found that interesting.
