It'd kind of makes sense if the next VIP email came before E3 though, considering we're... uh, VIPs. So maybe een sooner than we think!

Well, I hope you're right. I mean, there are about 6 to 7 months until the release date (according to the official informations so far), yet we don't know that much about the game! They better release something big this summer. Maybe a Body Shop, like they did with TS2* and Spore!! At least that's my hunch!
The Sims 2 Body Shop came 5 months before TS2 was released, so it shouldn't take too long before that make this one available. (I say late summer)

I expect by September we'll know a lot more. Considering, as you said, there are only 6 to 7 months left (or, so we're told..) you would think we'd at least have a basic knowledge of TS3 by now, but infact, we know very little, and it's tiresome.
