If I had any way to get to a computer, I would have. But the power was out all over the place, so even a public library wouldn't have been of any use.

But, I'm okay ^_^

And I missed all of you guys as well, believe me! WITHDRAWL! LoL

We're far enough inland that we got a LOT of rain and really, really heavy winds.

As I mentioned before in a thread, there are houses in our neighborhood where trees fell through them, one house has a tree right inside someone's bedroom!  The house across the street had 4 trees uprooted, and 2 were partially uprooted, but they managed to save those 2.

There was some mild flooding up the street from here, and lots of downed power-lines due to trees falling over and onto the wires.  There are still some areas in Texas that have been estimated to be without electricity up until sometime in october/november.

The storms themselves weren't all that bad, really.  Like I said, mostly a lot of rain and wind.  We didn't have to evacuate, thankfully.

We've had no electricty from the 13th until just an hour ago.

The lights are flickering, so we may lose it again (though hopefully it won't be for long), but I thought I'd drop in real quick and let you all know I'm okay.
OMG!! Big Grin I'm late, but I'm glad your okay!
We missed you =).
I'm glad your well.
I remember when I went to back to my home country(Bangladesh) and there was the tsunami, people thought I was dead. My friend was like 'No! She's not, where she went,it's not even near the tsunami'.
I was shocked @ how many people cared, and was worried. I liked it Big Grin

Yeah, usually by time Hurricanes get this close to us, they're not so bad. Ike had some steam behind him so he did some pretty bad damage to my neighborhood. But, as far as I can tell, no deaths or serious injuries.

This is the first time I've ever had people I've never met worry over me like this.  It's ... crazy!  But, not in a bad way.  Crazy like ... awe-struck and touched and the likes Smile
