I may try out the ghost baby thingy, probably with the Crumplebutts.

I won't be a big fan of it.

I'm just happy that ghosts have more interactions to them in this game, rather than just scaring people.

It seems.. interesting. I can't imagine using the option all that often, but it will be something I'll try out very early in my playing of TS3.
I'm sure there are other features I would have swapped for Ghost Babies though... I mean... ghosts are dead... but really, upon your decision, they get a second life, just transparently. I'm still not 100% how I feel. It could be awesome. Could be cruddy. We shall see soon enough. XD

i think that there should be an option
life after your sims dies, you can choose, continue play or live him/she as dead?
oh hey
actually it would be cool to play with ghosts
you can make a movie about it lol
like a sim movie
a dead sim comes back to haunt those who did wrong to him/she or just to talk 2 someone?

You can choose if your ghost 'lives'. You have to take them to the Science Lab in order to make them liveable, otherwise they stay dead, I think. Smile

Yeah, after you die, you don't just automatically become a playable ghost.

One thought I had about the graveyard was:

Instead of expanding when every sim dies and getting bigger and bigger, practically each generation, the graveyard would stay the same size.  The graveyard would then start to overwrite graves, the oldest graves first.

That is assuming if a grave in TS3 is automatically placed in the graveyard, or we have an option of sending the grave to the graveyard.

I mean, if the graveyard kept expanding when every sim dies, soon, your town would be all graveyard.  People really forget about their longest dead sims, so the game may overwrite those graves first.  Like let's say when you first turn on the game, you know that Mr. Crumplebottom already has a grave.  A real year has passed, and you'd been playing TS3 like crazy, and played 50 generations, it's likely that then, Mr. Crumplebottom's grave had been replaced by Barret Thompson's grave.  Especially since the player aren't even thinking of the long-gone Crumplebottoms, unless the player kept resurrecting them.

Yes, you're probably right, the game will probably overwrite graves, oldest first, so that the graveyard stays the same size.
Though it'd be cool if you COULD make your neighbourhood an entire graveyard, full of ghosts, and maybe like one random human Sim who lives with the dead. Tongue

Hard to see the graveyard expanding, but you never know. I think i'd prefer it to stay the same size personally {yes} I see enough dead people as it is {wacko}

yeah and how could a graveyard magically expand when u can see the hole neighborhood when your playing? it would look wierd like i can picture me playing and all the sims are asleep and its on time laps right .... and then i zoom out so i can see the hole town and all of a sudden the graveyard expands haha
