Re: Letting Go - hansthesockmonkey - 28-04-2009 06:21 AM I've never really played a family long enough to truly get attached. I am going to be sad however, when I uninstall the sims 2 and lose all of the sims I put time into creating. Idk I might save them on my hardrive. I think I might remake some of my favourites in ts3. Re: Letting Go - serp3821 - 28-04-2009 06:32 AM I agree Regan. I have never been really attached with a sim family.../ Re: Letting Go - BurntedToast?! - 28-04-2009 11:24 PM I guess I can agree as well. I never really have been attached to a family. I have been attached to a dog I made once though, then he died of old age when I was busy attending to my sims. He was part of my biggest sim family I ever had. I don't even remember the family. XD RIP Channel. <3 Re: Letting Go - hansthesockmonkey - 29-04-2009 01:10 AM Awww that's sweet! I don't know, I think my attention span must be very short! {lol} I dont think i have ever played a family any farther than the 1st generation's kids, and i have never had one of my pets even grow into elders, nonetheless die. {blush} Re: Letting Go - Majick - 29-04-2009 06:29 AM I always have pets who die. It's funny how the pets almost outlive the sims >_> Re: Letting Go - justinL92 - 30-04-2009 05:34 AM I will miss maybe one family, but besides that I think I will make the family into The Sims 3. Re: Letting Go - sims3luva22 - 30-04-2009 08:27 AM My families got distroyed years ago (sounds so real hah) when my older laptop was around. My cousins would lose my discs and then I would have to uninstall my EPs because the disc that I was recently playing on was around the house somewhere so I guess after that I never got into really becomming to attached to them. The family I have now is only in their third genration and to be honest, I plan on erasing them anyway once the sims 3 gets here. Its sad because I remember how excited I was when I first learned that there was going to be a sims 2 (I played sims 1 for years obsessively) and now that I know there's an even better version comming out, I'll be ditching it as well. I guess it's like a young relationship. You like the person, sometimes obsessively, once something new comes by {woot}- you're outta there! {lol} Re: Letting Go - Cassie - 02-05-2009 03:52 PM I'm still playing my legacy, I'll sort of miss it. I'm noting down each Sim before I uninstall the game though, I'll make sure some of the best Sims live again in TS3, or I'll just carry the legacy on, so they wont be forgotten. It's the end of an era and the start of a new one and I'm more than ready to go now.
Re: Letting Go - Emmuffins - 02-05-2009 04:58 PM I don't think I'll have a hard time letting go of The Sims 2. I know lots of people have families that they really care about, but I've never become that attached to mine.
Re: Letting Go - gothika - 23-05-2009 02:58 AM I personally don't think it'll be hard. Because to me it'll be better cause people will actually grow without you having to always control them. |
