Actually the easier way of doing that is in front and after your siggy code put center /center

to center something use the following code

<center>Your text/image here</center>


but instead of < > use [ ]


Also, when you reply to a post, you'll see four little buttons with lines on them, Preformatted Text, Left Align, Centered and Right Align.  You can click the one for Centered which has the lines on it that looks like this
