It's really easy, just get them to a dresser or mirror, and on the bottom by their picture, there's the "..." button, click that and one of the buttons is for exporting the sim to launcher to upload to the offical site, and I think by doing that, you can also get the .sims3pack in one of the folders. It takes some searching around (since I don't remember exactly xD).
