The deck chairs would move from one end of the deck to the other, you could hear it happening but nobody ever had the guts to open the door or look out the window to see what it looked like so I guess for all we know we could have had a creepy neighbor messing with us but I doubt it. I would here conversations coming from the kitchen as well as the sound of tea cups hitting the table as if somebody was sipping it and putting it down over and over. I would hear the door to our toaster oven open and close over and over like somebody was really really impatient while toasting their slice of Wonder. On four occasions I heard a person walk up the stairs to the second floor and walk into my bedroom, clear as day no mistakes about it. Every time it happened I would start talking to the non existent person thinking it was my sister, it never was, nobody was ever there. We had really high cathedral ceilings with windows all the way up on one side of the house and one day we noticed a permanent hand print of a child at the very top.. One day when my brother was in bed in the morning his set of keys that were sitting on the coffee table started move up and down on the table as if someone was playing with them and then they dragged across the table to the other end, stopped and flew off the table toward my brother. It was around that time that the animals in the house began to go a little nuts, the cat never came out of this one corner and hissed at nothing all day and my two dogs spent most of their time howling and barking at the glass dining room doors. I thought maybe they just didn't like that the doors were closed all the time so I opened them and that made it worse, they growled and snarled at the right corner of the room all day everyday and only took a break to eat and sleep. Somebody kept calling and hanging up on us so finally we did that *69 thing my mother did it, we had two phone lines in the house one for everyone and one for my dads business that only had one phone to it, when she pressed *69 my dads phone started ringing, he didn't connect it and he picked it up and there they were talking to each other (in other words to quote a sub par movie, the calls were coming from inside the house) Me my mother and father were all standing in the same area of the house when it happened so there is no way anyone in the house could have pulled it off. Yeah I know that one is a little much I don't blame you if you don't believe it I barely believed it and I was there. It didn't really freak any of us out until we moved out and started to recall everything, it's weird. There is more but I think this post is already long enough LOL. I hope you enjoyed it I love true ghost stories.
