Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - Julzz - 04-02-2009 05:30 AM there Ea are ****en Idiots i pre ordered and have to wait for ****en 3 months -.- Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - kl_turriff - 04-02-2009 05:35 AM Well, if delaying the game is EA's way of creating more hype they sure have succeeded. Though at the cost of their fan base thatâs for sure, I for one will NEVER be pre-ordering again. This has really hyped down the Sims3 for me so much, and since I work full time during the summer I most likely will not buy the game the day it comes out or even the week it comes out. {cursing} EA really caused a detriment in their older working young adult demographic. I can't just hold onto a piece of paper worth $75 till June when I need to buy books and you know food. Since most University/college bound students work during the summer they really have less time to buy frivolous things and spend time playing computer games. Bad call EA, just bad call. {trout} Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - Julzz - 04-02-2009 05:48 AM yeah, im going to call Personally Ben Bell, I found his Contact EA number and going to have the Biggest yell and If they reject me im so gonna gonna Sue EA ( im not joking) Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - MaidenM - 04-02-2009 06:01 AM URGH!!! The only positive thing about it is that it's the day after my birthday, and that's not even a very positive thing! Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - Cassie - 04-02-2009 06:39 AM I just woke up, it's 5:40am, and I just woke up feeling totally depressed. This news still not sinking in for me yet... Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - justinL92 - 04-02-2009 06:45 AM I kinda feel betrayed by ea because the original release date was so close, and now I have to wait till june to play it. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - yummybunny - 04-02-2009 10:16 AM The only plusses I am getting out of this is that Mac users can enjoy the game at the same time, and at least school would be out. I may have a 8-4pm internship, but at least I don't have to worry about the homework, but then, I would have to expand my knowledge of C++, VB.NET, and Java (which I have no experience of). All last week, I was thinking about paying the game off, good thing I didn't. Gamestop used to give back your cash, now, it's either store credit or a gift card, due to companies delaying too many games, and people getting their cash back. That's total bulls*it, that they delayed the game this late...right like days before release. And it's all gonna be a big flop anyways, all but the PC version will suck, getting at most a 7/10 for the console versions. I even have a feeling the PC version may suck. Usually, those games that comes out for all systems at the same time usually are the suckiest games. And what are they competing against? I know they aren't trying to compete against some shooter that a bunch of blood thirsty men in a death ring would kill to get. I would love to see EA compete against a shooter, or a stealth game...I would laugh when they totally fail at that. We all know TS3 would be less superior in sales. Now, a racing game, they may have a chance, it depends on the name of the franchise of the racing game. But it's all cool, just a bit disappointed that I won't be playing it this month or next month. Now, instead of buying TS3, I can save an extra $100 and get something else. I know for sure that I can trust Nintendo and the Pokemon company, with their Platinum release date...they never let me down in the 11 years I'd been playing Pokemon. Due to Nintendo sticking to their release date and updating us, I am not their only fan that has a bond and has trust in them, unlike EA. Thank you, Nintendo and the Pokemon Company. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - lilia2055 - 04-02-2009 10:27 AM true pokemon always gets released on time, plus the DS versions are quite long, usually a day and half of playing and you were in the pokemon league, now u can actually do a lot more. on topic: i like how people here aren't freaking out that much. and that we accept it when someone else has another oppinion. or at least try to convince that other person to think otherwise. Snooty (right now) has a few idiots that make going there really annoying. everytime u give them an argument they jsut say the same thing. for example: i think it's pretty clear that it was postponed for financial reasons; but NOOOOOOOO not according to them, to them it was delayed 'cause the game will have no bugs in it anymore then. what kind of illusion is that, there is NO game out there that doesn't have bugs. what a joke... to summarize(s?) : I LOVE THIS SITE {clap} Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - The Adam Diamond - 04-02-2009 10:38 AM Wow. This thread is 16 pages long already. For me, it still hasn't sunk in that I'll have to wait four more months. I'm EXTREMELY disappointed, but we're just gonna have to deal with it videogames are delayed all the time, and TS3 is going to be just as good (if not better, with the added wait) when we all get it later. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - yummybunny - 04-02-2009 10:43 AM There is always gonna be bugs in a game! This is what people don't understand! Plus, the bugs The Sims usually have are pretty fun. They are either funny or they may give us an advantage. I know of bugs in games (that aren't Sims), where we can get free money or infinite life due to a bug in the game, and people would hate having it patched. Snooty Sims sometimes are annoying...a lot of the people like looking at crap in the logical way or something. Then saying the economy is so bad. I hate people using that as an excuse, because people waste their money in this economy on whatever they want still. People still buy $200 jeans and crap, so they need to shut the **** up. Like my cousin, he was just talking about how he can't afford his gas bill due to bad economy, then he bough $200 Jordans, but because they are the new ones, when he would get the new new ones next month. And speaking of Pokemon, the games did get much longer, when the DS versions came out. That's a company that updates their fans...they don't say...well, they'll buy the game anyways, so skip them. They know that we put the clothes on their backs. Or unlike EA they just don't want the world p-off at them. |
