I use the good ole method of my mom driving me. We live in the middle of nowhere so having buses would be pointless.

Haha. Same. Or walk xD. You can walk around my town at night (Though I wouldn't recomend doing it alone) quite safely

I think I've used a car about 30 times in my entire life to be honest... I can't wait to finally own my own... goodbye public transport...

Well if my mum doesn't own a car either... and when I go out, we always tend to use public transport seeing as we're not even old enough to drive yet, so the only time I do take a car is when I'm getting a lift someplace. I'm ALWAYS on public transport. Bus, tram, trains, the works... annoying, but it makes me healthier and it's less damaging to the earth I suppose... not to say I'll be using public transport much when I get my hands on my first car, must be honest. XD
Least I'll appreciate it though.

It's 17 here. Honestly it's so hard to get around in most of the US without a car, I'm surprised you aren't driving around at 12.
