This is what people don't understand! the first bold piece of text: i know people like that as well and trust me you're not the only one annoyed. it suprises me sometimes how many stupid there are in world, i should better by now but it still annoys me and then i can't stand them calling other people idiots simply for having another opinion. and then they go using smileys to "express" how they feel while they call other people "babies that need to grow up" simply because those people are mad at EA. like we don't have a RIGHT to be mad...but trying to convince those people is like talking to a brick wall...the second bold piece of text: i know right, i'm 20 and i still play pokemon, simply 'cause it keeps entertaining me, and 'cause nintendo actually adds new things. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - yummybunny - 04-02-2009 10:59 AM Nintendo does keep adding new things, like the Wifi...that helped a lot of people not get bored and start new games. They can keep their beloved pokes and play people online...AND their console games are good. In the end, I'd choose loyalty and service. Heck, if I had to choose between The Sims and Pokemon existing, it would dearly hurt me, but hey, I'd choose the better company to the customers. Now back to The Sims: Yes, what people on other forums don't know is that it would take a while for people to suck it up, because how would they feel when they are getting something they dearly want in a few days, and then the person who is giving this awesome thing to you say, "We want to give it to other people too, so wait 4 months. But here is a taste of what you will be getting though." I haven't looked at their updates they just did, because it's like teasing me. Imagine a dog in front of the owner, and the owner is eating meat. Then the owner tells you to sit, and the dog sits, and each time the dog obeys, the owner puts the meat closer, but then when the dog is opening his mouth to bite that meat, the owner yanks it away. "You can only smell it!" he says. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - lilia2055 - 04-02-2009 11:09 AM and that's exactly what EA did. so i can't blame people for being p***** off, i am also not going to get annoyed by it. but what does annoy me is that other people start calling those people names simply because they are venting their anger towards EA. and i'm tired of hearing that it's delayed because of bugs, and there will be no bugs in the game in june. that's just wishfull thinking and not realistic. there is nothing that can make the thing EA did better. especially not giving us 3 pics and some other stuff, like that can replace actually playing the game...people actually took time off from work that they could probably have used on a better moment in the future. EA should've announced it much sooner instead of making us wait till the very last minute. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - yummybunny - 04-02-2009 11:18 AM Heck, I wish someone can start calling us names on this forum, they would get told off in a flash. They don't have lives, talking about other people. And YES, we have every right to be mad at EA. Those same people calling us stupid...I bet when the next Halo or Gears of War is pushed back, they would act the same way, AND Microsoft tells them way in advance. TBH, the PC version of TS3 is finished. I really bet it is finished. And I don't think it was the decision of Ben Bell, but the decision of the head honchos and the top marketing people of all games, due to the fact that TS3 wasn't the only anticipated game pushed back. Like what advertising they freaking do on The Sims? Like show their commercial once per day on one channel? I had never seen a commercial for TS2 or any EPs, except for a few times, probably one per every other expansion. And nothing can make it better. Like I don't want your sorry screenshots and new sorry a** video. "Oh, we're sorry. Have a TS3 promotional sucker." ***slaps that sucker out of EA's hand*** Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - lilia2055 - 04-02-2009 11:28 AM i know, they pushed back two other games for the same reasons. and if i understood it correctly one of the games was pushed back for being "over qualified", how is a game over qualified? they should be glad that they have a great game to release but no, they push it back; . yet mysims is not delayed? wasn't that another big title? the people who decided this at EA have no idea what kind of a shockwave they sent through the community. they expect all of us to be: ok, thanks for delaying (otherwise they wouldn't have started the article with "good news"). why involve the community to then completely ignore them for the last few weeks.also on snooty: i find it ridiculous how one person demanded that we apologize to kate, wth...she did start a rumour so she is at fault. not about the delay but just the fact that she felt she was superior to others, which it did look like. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - yummybunny - 04-02-2009 11:35 AM Apologize to Kate? Kiss my butt! She had NO idea that TS3 was gonna be officially delayed. She just didn't want the game, she had no interest, all the attention she'd gotten from the CC made her have a big head, and feel superior in The Sims community. She ain't EA's official spokesperson or nothing. She is just like anybody else running a website. And apologizing to her would only make her say, "See, I told y'all." She ain't told us crap. Her rumors with a lot of other rumors, like stores having different dates and stuff, made us speculate a delay, and EA's unupdated website. I knew that I was gonna be disappointed. I know this isn't the last delay. Something else tells me they are prone to pi** us off again. I'm not counting on that game in June. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - pablo247 - 04-02-2009 11:39 AM I went into EB games after school today and asked when TS3 was going to be released. The guy said they don't have a date, but he guesses the end of march.. Then I came home and went on the forums and saw june 2nd. Come on, EA. Delaying it almost 2 weeks before it's scheduled release date for FOUR more months.. >:-( Not impressed. lol. She ain't EA's official spokesperson or nothing. She is just like anybody else running a website. me neither, i'm thinking it could probably be september. september is a busy month for games to be released. there are specific months where there is a high activity on game releases and september is one of them. spore was released in september. i feel the game is pretty much finished, except for some few minor bugs. heck they're probably already working on an EP of some sort. i can't say for sure because i haven't played the game but it's what i can tell from reading the article. Re: RELEASE DATE; June 3rd 2009! - yummybunny - 04-02-2009 11:46 AM For real, what game you know that people want is released in time for the summer? I had watched 50 or more games...been watching games since the PS2 and Xbox days, and preordering them. And all I have to say is none. None of them that I badly wanted came out in time for summer. It's always September or October. None comes out in time for Spring Break, always gotta be during the times when you don't have the time to play the freaking game.
