Heehee. It wasn't a matter of if they saw it, it was a matter of if you had it out and were messing with it when you shouldn't be. Lots of people kept their pagers in plain sight, but if they weren't messing with it, they couldn't do anything about it.

Mmhmm.
If they could prove the student was doing more than just moving it around or repositioning it they'd take it away. My friend lost many a pagers because she never learned to stop playing with it. And her dad never came to the school to get it because he felt it was her own fault. But, in a few weeks he'd always buy her a new one ... e.e

lol sorry. but when you call your friends house, and he answers the phone "Oh, it's Shamoo again." you tend to start to hate people. People who didn't even know me ... knew me as Shamoo, but not my real name. For years, people there honestly thought that was my name -.-;

Yes, Shamu as in the whale (I never knew how to spell it xD). My friend was the only on in the house that ever called me by my real name, everyone else used Shamu.
Even THEIR friends when they came over, called me Shamu -__- When my friend would say "tell jen to come here" they'd be like "Who?" ... and she'd look at them like ... wtf ... then her sister would say "Shamu." and they'd go "Oh! Okay!"
I hate her family so much.
