Those three languages I mentioned are somehow the ones they want us to know. I was thinking the same thing! Java and C++ aren't useless, but VB.NET, what company uses that! I took classes on it, but I really didn't bother to keep on learning it, because who uses it?
On topic: I am expecting to get let down again in June. Like no game comes out in June. What people said on Snooty Forums, and I agree...because I am a gamer, and preordered my fair share of games:
They probably set the release date to June, because it is near, and not too far to let down the hype completely. They still want to keep the hype. So they will set it in June, so when May comes or is ending, that hype would build up again, then they will delay it to September, which isn't that far from May. All of the big games come out in September and October, and it would be plenty enough competiton for them.

If they delayed it again, I wouldn't buy Sims 3 for a looong time, and I'm being fully honest here. I've lost interest in the game now, anyway. Not in a BAD way, I think this game is amazing and the best ever and I'll still go crazy over updates, but I mean, I'm not chasing my mind with thoughts of it anymore, like I was before the delay. I'm not obsessed now. I've given up dreaming and thinking of it, because it's pointless until around April-May time. At least it's early June. For now, anyway.

On the Snooty Sims forum, they say June 5th now, and that maks sense as that's a Friday whereas teh 2nd is a Tuesday and that seems a little bizarre. But, let's just say, early June?

The US will get it on June 2nd which is a Tuesday - when they normally get their games.
Whilst the UK will get it on June 5th which is a Friday - when we normally get our games.
