In Australia some places say 2nd and some say the 4th. But I won't be rushing out to buy it.
But I might come here and see if everybody is happy with it.

I'm not obsessing over the game either. Like I haven't thought about it really, and really don't check fansites anymore. It's like March, when we knew that there was no point looking on fansites, because there wasn't gonna be news anyways.
But there is news, but I don't know what happened, I'm not just interested in looking at it. I can be mad, and that anger, which I don't feel...or disappointment...I was never angry, well whatever, just somehows turns into less interest.
If it is delayed, I would be...idk. {cursing}

I have kind of lacked interest of this game now. I am looking forward to some other games now. I think it may be the only game though in the summer that I buy because the summer time likes quality games.

Since I pre-ordered from Gamestop, I got my little "cd" box with stickers and the poster etc. of course I'm wondering if EA is going to reimburse everyone who pre-ordered the collector's edition their muscle car coupon which can only be redeamed until April 15th, 2009 {ohmy}
They need to post a frequently asked question link on the sims 3 site answering all the questions everyone may have concerning the delay. But of course, they won't. Besides, I should've known they weren't nearly finished with the game after the content creators went because normally I wouldn't think they would post/fix everything in less then 2 months time. {cursing}

I agree, I stopped logging on to ts3's website months ago, I only come in here to chat and see what's new, I do play ts2 from time to time to pass away the boredom. It's sad when a community is no longer as excited for a game that isn't even out yet. That shows that the developers aren't doing their jobs to keep up interested and up to date.

I'm glad I didn't pre-order it, having to go through the hassle of cancelling and what not.
Has anyone thought about what they are going to be doing for another 4 months? I was thinking maybe they can work out all the small bugs, and revamp the game for better quality so we won't have any problems playing when its released. Also it would be nice for them to get busy with the first EP to kill some time.
But at least one good thing comes out of this whole mess, is that Mac users won't have to wait for a while till the version is completed. And if you ever want to switch between the Windows version and the Mac, it will be all on one disk, so that saves you an extra $50 something dollars.

another way I knew of the possiblity, itwas going to get a delay.
1. The game didn't have their official cover, most games have their covers ready a month before release.
2. I read GameInformer a lot, and most other game magazines usually do their own reviews of games that come out a month before. I didn't once see any review on The Sims 3 nor any advertisments of it coming out in Feb.
3. No online advertisments on IGN.com, etc. probably because of the lack of marketing they threw out there in the press conference.

Maybe there were one or two huge bugs that needed fixing.
