Me too! I guess its because I was never with the group of people to doubt the fact that there were kids in the game. I knew there would be, so seeing one wasn't a huge relief to me.

we had kids in TS1 and TS2 so why wouldn't there be kids in TS3?

Thats the way I thought. But a lot of people were really freaked out that there wouldn't be any kids. Just search for it on this board, you'll find a bunch of threads.

I never doubted there would be kids. If there wasn't, what kind of marketing tactic would that be?! TS2 built on generations, it was the main focus, the new shizzle. Now the main focus is the seamless neighbourhood. In TS4, it'll be something else, goodness knows what. But they'll always be BULDING. Taking the main focus from TS2 and replacing it with a new focus would be stupid. They don't replace the focus, they just ADD a new focus, if you see how I mean. It's always going to be like that. It's always just going to get better and better. Taking kids and generations from TS3 would make the game worse than TS2. I don't think that's their goal.
