Well, at least it seems TS2 is going off with a bang!
I loved FT, but if that had been the ast one, TS2 would have drifted off somewhere...

I, too, think that in AL they're testing a lot of stuff for Sims 3. By doing this expansion they're learning how to build in certain social actions and define algorithms for better "working" townies (who will be completely autonomous in Sims 3). AL will be give you a very lively game environment when you're on a apartment lot and sims 3 will do that same thing, just more of it, for a whole city, I think. Imagine! Whoa!
I will definitely try out AL because then I can take the characters I already have a step higher and it'll be a nice way to pass the time until Sims3 comes out. Cool!

It looks fun and I'm soooo buying it. I will pre-order it when I can. {party} With so many new things you can have and do I think it will have some bugs, but we are used to that, aren't we?

i hope not
but if they're smart (and how dumb can they be they have created the sims after all) they won't have it in AL
they should know by now that fans hate it and that it doesn't stop illegal downloads
if anything it adds to illegal downloads since some people, especially people from outside the states, don't want to have securom so they will download the game to avoid it
