Being a mommy was different.  I soon recognized that it wasn't about me anymore.  I couldn't spoil myself with new clothes, or anything, because Nelson always needed new clothes to grow into or formula, or diapers.  Marcel did call and ask if he was the father, and I told him that I would call him back.  I didn't answer him, nor did I call him back.  He called back, but I ignored his phone calls.  I was rather happy with me being Nelson's only parent.

There were those times when Nelson was really cute.  He loved his baths.  Nelson was such a happy baby!

Then there were those times when he would just act like a spoiled brat.  I hated changing his diapers, but then, it gave me a sense of who is father was.  This may seem kind of nasty, but it's a fact.  Nelson's poo stinks...badly.  Marcel never stunk when coming out the bathroom, but that one time John used my bathroom, I had to use a whole can of air freshener.

As the months passed, Marcel kept on calling, but I ignored him.  I finally left a note at my door for Marcel.  It told him that he wasn't the father.  I wasn't sure if he wasn't, but I wanted Marcel to go away.  Marcel wrote on the back of the note, and that message said, "I want to see the boy for myself."  One day, I took off Nelson's diaper and he peed in my face.  That's one thing that I hated about having a boy.  I just hoped that he doesn't ask who his father is one day.  I will tell him that his father is on a very long vacation and he won't come back.

Then the baby fat was hard to get rid of.  No matter how much I worked out, I couldn't get my belly completely flat.  I had talked to a neighbor that has kids.  She said that a baby would mess up your body.  That your body won't never be the same again after a baby is born.  I have a little stomach, but it's not how it was before.  Then I have stretch marks!  All a woman has to sacrifice for their child....grief!  This body change is gonna be hard to get used to.  I am not having any more kids!

I'd returned to work after my maternity break.  I sure was nervous leaving Nelson with a sitter.  At work, I even was crying, because I was so worried about my baby.  But I'm sure the nanny was taking really good care of him.  He was alive and everything when I got home.

Yeah, I bet the nanny was taking really good care of him.

Finally, Nelson turned a year old!  I'd baked Nelson a little cake and decorated it myself.  It was just me and him at the party, no one else.  My son did not need anyone else.  That's what I will teach him.  It will always be him and mommy.  He can stay till he is fifty.

Nelson grew into a very handsome boy!  He looked nothing like Marcel, but who knows.

One of my biggest acheivements was teaching Nelson how to walk.  He is a very fast learner.

I also had to care for Mimi, who was now ignored.  Mimi usually did her own thing and hung out outside with the other dogs.  I'm happy that she hasn't bought home any puppies.

Nelson, Mimi, and I were a family.  We loved each other, and we were gonna stick together.  I missed the men...the constant men...and I did feel lonely a lot, but Nelson had to be my little man.  I had to set a good example for him.  I'd made a promise to never again bring in random man.  Plus, I learned my lesson from it.  Look what situation that I am in now?  A child with no father.

And I had to take this picture of Nelson choking the life out of Mimi.  I did send this pic to Marcel, so it could shut him up.  Men would usually shut up if the baby don't look like them.  Then he is gonna write back, saying talk to John.  John can go die for all I care.  I won't accept the fact that John is a possible father, so it's Marcel, since he's the only man left.  I just want my baby to myself.

Re: A Sims Story - Majick - 26-12-2008 09:31 PM

Awww, he's a cutey Smile

And pets do tend to get ignored once there's a baby in the house, lol

Great Update! Loved it!

2nd UPDATE FOR TODAY!!!  GO UP A LITTLE FURTHER IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE FIRST UPDATE FOR TODAY!

In the fall, which was like six eight months later, I got together with Nick.  We were co-workers at McDonalds.  We were really cool and we always talked to each other.  Nick was a nice boy, but he had a temper, he was a potty mouth, and he did drugs, but oh well, I needed a life.  So Nick moved in with me and Nelson.  Nick...I wouldn't say that he is cute, he looks kind of sickly, but you can kind of see something attractive in him.  Nick was high when he was looking out the window.  He would sometimes get really high off his drugs and think that it is snowing outside, when it's summer and so on.  Well, he thought it was snowing outside, but then, I had to tell him that it WAS snowing and that it isn't summer, but winter.

Nick, he is talented...when he is drunk of course.  If he is drunk, he knows how to do everything.  This idiot had never took lessons on the viola, and sucks at it when he is sober...he hates the looks of it, but when he's drunk, he can beat Chopin.

Nick was a very sweet person...he was always so huggy and stuff.

Then he loved to cuddle.  Sometimes, when I would look in his face, I would get disgusted, because he is so sickly looking, but then, he is ugly.  Then he is cute at times.  Hey, but I needed a man, and Nelson was about to drive me crazy.

Living with Nick, I'd learned to never trust him alone with Nelson.  I was so pissed off when he was off one day.  I came home, and Nelson was flopping in the snow.  Nick was inside, watching football.

"Where's Nelson?"  I asked Nick.
"Isn't he in bed?"  Nick said.

I cursed him out so bad.  So I had to spend money on a babysitter, even when Nick was off.  So I had to waste my money, but it's better than having a frozen baby, or Nelson being taken away by a social worker.

So that night, I'd planned out something.  I was going to dress really nice for him, just to reject him.  Nick is gonna come in the bedroom all happy:

Nick:  Hey baby.  You look nice.
Misty:  Thanks.  I'm just tired though and I need to relax.
Nick:  Not yet.
Misty:  I don't love you.  Not after you'd killed my baby.

And he just kept on flirting.  Then I gave in...

Sometimes, I hate myself for not sticking to stuff.

On Christmas, I was off, so I decided to have some holiday cheer.  I fixed some Santa cookies and Nick did something for a change.  He'd bought a Christmas tree!!!

Then I'd gotten a phone call from McCrappers.  My supervisor told me that I had to come in, because someone called in, saying their child was sick.  Bullcrap!  They just wanted to be off for Christmas.  So while this lazy tramp was at home with her kids, lying and stuff, I had to miss Christmas with my boyfriend and Nelson and go to work.  Like who would be at McDonalds on Christmas anyways?  The only people who were there were people who could not afford a Christmas dinner AND no one in their family liked them.  They were the rudest, most disgusting people!

Well, I was at home in time to put my baby to sleep.  Nelson wouldn't go to sleep unless I did.

Misty:  Go to sleep, Nelson.  Santa's sleigh is in town!
Nelson: You better sleepy too, mommy!  Santa will put a lump of coal on your head.
Misty:  Mommy can see Santa.
Nelson:  No!  You sleepy!

I didn't believe in Santa, and I fell asleep staying in my room, faking sleep, so Nelson can go to bed.

I guess Nick was high Christmas night, because he'd gotten up and was wooting and clapping.  Usual Nick.  Then he's gonna wake me up saying, "Go see Santa!"  I'd cussed him out and went back to sleep.  Stupid drunk!  But that was my man!

Nelson was also squealing at night.  He seemed happy and I was tired.  Plus Nick was sleep, and I didn't want to wake his stupid butt up.  If Nelson wasn't calling my name, then he was fine.

Then I wondered where this stupid radio came from.  Nick said that Santa bought it, but who would believe such an nut!  Nick probably bought it as a present and forgot that he did.  Nick could just never fess up to buying it someplace.

Nelson, in the morning said, "Fireman came."  I don't know why he'd said that.  I didn't hear anything at night.  I think that some of Nick had gotten to Nelson.  I had a nice sleep last night, besides dealing with stupid Nick.

Then my tree was white and sticky in the morning.  I cursed Nick out again, wondering what did he do to my tree.  Did he paint my tree or something?  This had to be the worst Christmas ever!  Everyone was so insane!  I had learned to never spend Christmas with Nick again.  I wasn't planning to be with Nick for long anyways.  People can sense when a person is gonna be a short-term romance for them.

Re: A Sims Story - phoebe91 - 27-12-2008 02:07 AM

xDDD I love both updates, especially the second one! So funny with the santa and the tree! But Nick is creepy. I have a friend (Well, okay, I don't WANT to be friends with him, but I only see him at school anyways) who drinks, party, used to do drugs and he also looks all sickly-ish and his name is Nick o__o Kinda looks like him too, except his hair is curly xD That's so creepy.

Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 27-12-2008 02:14 AM

Lol!  I get you about Nick!

That's the same way for almost all the Nicks I know too, but they are really nice.

Sometimes, everyone with a certain name acts a certain way, except for a few people with that certain name.

Re: A Sims Story - phoebe91 - 27-12-2008 06:46 AM

yeah, so true xD Also, I wanted to tell you that I'm starting to get the urge to re-read your story while I'm doing other things, which is good because it means I REALLY like your story ^_^ I think I will re-read your story lol.

Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 27-12-2008 12:57 PM

Thanks.  That means a lot.  I would be re-reading it myself too.

I have many stories in notebooks and stuff in my room.  My mom would be stealing them, and has been since I was like 13.  And I would hate it, because they contain real life situations and mature content, then she would be coming to me laughing about the content.  So they are hidden in my dressers and in this table that she doesn't know that opens.  But then, in high school, I would always let my teachers read them.  They gave good feedback and they weren't my mom.

It makes me wonder how TS3 is gonna be like with all the different traits.  I wonder how effective the traits will be.  I am still thinking they would act like regular sims, but their traits will kick in at times.  I may do this with TS3 or a video legacy or something like this.

Who knows, there may be a sim that so cooky that his wife don't believe him.

Re: A Sims Story - Majick - 27-12-2008 05:25 PM

Ggreat update Smile

Nick is an ass >_>

But then, she doesn't treat anyone but herself better than trash. Your sim is a stuck up little brat ;p  But I think that's why we keep reading, lol

Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 27-12-2008 05:41 PM

She's really a brat? {lol}

I have never seen this side of you, Majick! {lol}

But then how she did treat Nick, and how she don't want her son to have a father, and not thinking about how Nelson would feel...that is selfish.

Nick is based a lot off my cousin's crazy ex boyfriend.  I had to spend everyday with them, and I was never comfy around him.

Re: A Sims Story - yummybunny - 27-12-2008 06:47 PM

On the 26th of December, Nick's stupid ass was still in the Christmas spirit.  I wasn't in the Christmas spirit anymore. like it's over.  I am not gonna be acting jolly and be super nice to stupid people on Christmas.  Sometime that day, I was watching Nick play with Nelson, which he never did.  Since Nick was living in my house, I'd expected him to act like Nelson's father, but he never did.  So I was happy when Nick was talking to Nelson:

Nick:  Did you see Santa last night?
Nelson:  Shut up, stupid drunk!
Nick:  That's why I don't talk to your stupid son, Misty.

I had to tell Nick off.  I didn't know who he thought he was, but he could not talk about my baby in front of his face.  I couldn't wait to find me another man behind Nick's back and drop his stupid self.

Then the worst thing happened.  I found out that I was stuck with Nick.  Well, I thought was getting fatter due to Nick stressing me out.  I had no morning sickness or cravings, as I did with Nelson.  Then Nick is gonna call me fat, when we were getting romantic.  Then I found out I was pregnant, which was the worst thing in my freaking life.  Having this stupid idiot's baby.  Nick soon found out that we was gonna be having a baby, and he had the most disappointing reaction--he was delighted!  I wanted him to pack his bags and leave me and this baby.  Merry Christmas to me!

Nelson had a birthday.  Nick wanted to invite his family, so Nelson would have some family support, but I didn't want his f-up'ed family in my house...and they weren't Nelson's family.  I told him the truth.  Nelson didn't have no family, but me, and it was gonna stay that way.  Nick then told me that his baby was gonna have a good family, and I better accept that.  I told him no.  I don't want my babies around them...nor him.  I was considering abortion, though I didn't believe in it, but having Nick's baby was bad enough.  I was thinking about doing that, then faking a miscarriage.  I already had it planned--Nick would go to work, I would take Nelson to the clinic with me, have it, then go home, get myself sick, then act super depressed when Nick got home.  Then I would tell him about my long day at the hospital.

Nelson sure was becoming a cutie...looking more and more like...whoever every day.  I loved Nelson's shoulder-length hair.  I told Nelson to never cut his hair.

The first thing my baby did was play in the snow.  When I saw him making snow angels, I had to stop him.  Snow angels to me was a girly thing.  It was okay for boys, but Nelson didn't have a man around to teach him how to be a man, and I didn't want him growing up different, and turning out different...if you know what I mean.

Instead, I told Nelson to be a man and build something.  He'd built a snowman.  I was really pissed when I saw that he'd wasted my food though.  I had to tell him that carrots weren't meant to be wasted, and so weren't my grapes.  Nick told him otherwise, and I had to tell Nick off.  "You do not tell my son to do something against me!"  I told him.  Nick called me a crazy B and told me that his baby would be able to do that.

After Christmas break, Nelson went right off to school!  I had to take a picture of him getting on the bus.  He was so scared.  He took one last look at home, before he went on that bus.

A few months later, it was too late to get an abortion, but I decided to keep it anyways.  I was so tired of Nick and he needed to get the hell out my house.  Nick was watching a baseball game with Nelson and teaching him all about baseball.  My son didn't need to be interested in a stupid, boring sport like baseball.  I told Nelson to excuse us.

I told Nick how I felt about him.  Nick told me that he was sick of me too.  He told me that I was crazy and that my Nelson was gonna end up crazy too really soon.  I had to tell him to get out my son's business and life...that wasn't his son, so he shouldn't be concerned about him.  Then Nick told me that he was gonna take his baby away from me, when it is born, like a druggie like Nick would get custody of a baby.

That was when I told Nick a bold-faced lie, "You are not the father!"  Nick didn't believe me at first, but I stuck to my guns.  I made up fake men and fake encounters.  It took a lot of lying to convince Nick, but then, I called Nelson in.

Misty:  Nelson, did a repairman come over all this week while Nick was at work?
Nelson:  Yeah.
Misty:  Mommy was in the bathroom with him for a very long time, right?
Nelson:  Yeah, but the bathtub kept on breaking.
Misty:  Baby, you won't understand...thanks.

I had to twist Nelson's words and confuse his little brain of what Nelson saw.  Nelson didn't see anything..he'd only saw the man do his job, but I needed to make up an affair, so Nick could get out my life.

Finally, I'd broke the man's spirit!  He ended up having a fit, pushing me, and calling me names, but he sure was getting out my house.  He still wasn't convinced...completely, but he said, "I would never work things out with a crazy baby mama like you, and if that baby is mine, I'll pray for it."

Then he is gonna stare at me all disgusted.  I was disgusted by his face.  I really hoped the new addition to my family wasn't gonna be a boy, or ugly like it's daddy.

Nelson went after Nick after Nick had called a taxi.  "Can I come with you?"  Nelson kept asking.  I had to straighten Nelson out with a belt.  Nick didn't bother with Nelson anymore, which I didn't want him to do.

Good riddings!  The munchkin was out!  I can finally live my life!

Nelson cried and cried for days, then weeks, but I didn't care.  "Now I don't have a daddy!"  he screamed.  I had to put Nelson in his place.  I told him that I was both his mommy and daddy.  I then told him that his daddy didn't want him.

"You probably scared him away!"  Nelson snapped.  "He probably don't want you!"
I was about to slap Nelson for saying that to me.  "Go to your daddy's house then!"  I said.  "His name is either Marcel or John.  Go to either of their houses.  I bet they will throw you in the trash!"  I then written a note to the men, gave it to Nelson, and put him on the porch.  Nelson wouldn't go find his daddy, and instead came back into the house.

Then he's gonna have his fits all the time.

Well, one night, Michael popped by.  I haven't saw the man since before Nelson was born.  Michael claimed that he'd been thinking about me, and he swung by.  Personally, I thought he didn't have a life.  He always checked on people whom he'd helped, he said.  He saw Nelson and talked with him.  Stupid Nelson told him everything.  I'd told Nelson about telling our business.  Then Michael came into my room and gave me another lecture.

Michael:  Nelson told me everything.
Misty:  This isn't none of your...
Michael:  I'd never cut you off, now listen to me.  You had a good man, it seemed like.  He may had been annoying, but it seemed like Nelson liked him and he wanted to be a father to the baby you are carrying.  That's wrong that you took the priviledge of a father from this baby...and having someone like one from Nelson...and blah, blah, blah.

I wanted someone to shoot me in the head!

Well, the months went by fast, and I was doing just fine without Nick.  Nelson finally calmed down and was back to acting normal.  Nelson was a punk in school...always getting picked on and stuff, but it was a good thing...no outside influences.  I found out I was having a girl, and that was music to my ears.

Two months later, Rainy was born.  She looked a lot like Nick, but she wasn't freaking deformed.  Nick called and came by often with his fits, wanting to see his baby.  I put Rainy to the window, but that's how close he's ever gonna get to my baby.  Nick then took me to court, a paternity test proved that he was the father, and he wanted part-time custody or visitation rights, but I was smarter.  I asked for a drug test to be done on Nick, and he had everything in him.  Then I asked for a restraining order.  Since Nick was jacked up on drugs, I'd gotten my wish.  Now Nick better stay away from us!  I loved the power!  But then, I was lonely again.  I needed another man.  Nelson was getting to be a pain, and he needed one to whip him right.
