So just stop being jealous of people that are playing it before you, and stop making stuff up, like the leak is broken, to make yourself feel better. Just be patient like you say you are.

Lunacy182,

Nobody is jealous. We are just angry that others can't be patient and wait for the game to be released instead of illegally downloading it.
Fair enough. But it's still no excuse to make things up to try and make yourself feel better. Just ignore them. So what if they are playing it now. You'll be playing it soon enough.
Well, fair enough, but it wasn't us who made it up, as a previous poster stated, it was posted over at the Snooty Sims forums.

I'll do that now if you want.

And the game isn't buggy at all. No crashes in 10+ hours of play for me.

Kitchen - has 3 more cookers I think, more sinks includes toilet ones etc, 8+ more cabinets.

Bedroom:

Living Room

The only things with more items than are in these screenshots are general things like mirrors/paintings. There are no more toilets/beds etc.

Outside these there is Dining Room which has 12 tables, 14 chairs, 4 bars, 5 bar stools.

Study - 2 exercise items + table football, some desk chairs which are the same as a lot in the dining room tab, 5 hobbies - fishing bowl, guitar, painting, telescope, chess board, 9 bookshelves.

Outdoor - 10 cars, 2 bikes, 1 garage door, parking space, bike space, 30 ornaments, 10 outdoor activies - football, swing, slide, chessboard etc.

Showing the wall/outdoor wall patterns is useless because of the new material editor. It works on cars/walls/floors, so you can have a car with a horrible painted/carpet/brick pattern. Brick walls can have their colour edited by choosing 3 brick colours etc. Note I made one of the wood colours a horrible yellow. Technically it's somewhat limitless.

Hmm the objects are pretty minimal, but not quite as bad as I thought. I keep reminding myself I had well over 10 GB of CC when I played TS2.
Thanks for taking those pictures! Big Grin

This is what I hate most about it being leaked.  Those people who download it ruins it for everyone.  They want to b***h, moan, and complain about the game, and ruin everyone's speculation about it, and put it down to everyone who wants it.

It would had been much better if those people can keep their gameplay to themselves, and their problems they experienced.

Well, I really do doubt it's the final version, because they are not gonna leave a bug that big in the game, where a man is gonna get pregnant by another man.  I really think that those who are claiming that these huge bugs are in the final version, just want to put the game down, and they don't want to admit that or are in deep denial that their game is only a buggy beta version, or even an alpha version.  They are probably in so much denial that it's a truth to them now that they have the real game.

Everyone who played the leaked version said nothing good about the game, and it's total bull.  Just cause they have the game early gives them the rights to be Mr. Reviewer and ruin the last moments of everyone's long wait. Half of these people aren't even fans of the series, they haven't been playing The Sims, and they don't know crap about The Sims.  They are just playing it for temporary fame and attention.  On all of the forums I looked on, there are so many new accounts, started by people who have leaked versions, and their very first post is a b***h about the game or something negative that's in it.

I'm not saying that TS3 is all that and there's nothing wrong with it, everyone has their own opinion to the game, but come on!!!

But I really do not enjoy, along with other people having what should be the most exciting days of the wait, getting it ruined my the the nags of people who don't even know the series, people who aren't never happy, people who wanna compare it with TS2 with all the EPs, or people who just want attention and want to start a hot topic on a forum.

I agree that there is no way the downloadable on right now is the real one. Even if some people have no experienced the crashes it is most likely only a matter of time before their games 'phone home'.

Not sure what the whole Lunacy182 thing was about, if you would like to play the downloaded one that’s fine. But the moderators have requested that the talk about the  play-by-plays of the downloaded game be kept to a minimal so it is a little frustrating when people begin spilling details that others may not want to know yet. If you’re trying to read over a board in order to get all the information before posting and a huge spoiler about pregnancy pops up, that sort of sucks.  Wink

Its like SNAPE KILLS DUMBLEDORE all over again.

Personally I don’t have $2,000 to waste on a fine so I have decided to avoid downloading it.  {lol}

To clear a few things up.
EA would release a game with a huge bug in it, they have done that plenty of times. I am sure they don't have proper Beta-testers.

The person talking about the coding, was talking about how they are going to make a program that will enable CC.

And if anybody thinks the fine would only be $2,000.00, think again it could be as much as $50,000.00. Owning pirated video games is very serious. But they are not going to send police to every house looking for them.

I believe in live and let live, it is not my business if the man next door has pirated video's.

I agree the game shouldn't be spoiled for anyone that doesn't want it spoiled.

What I was talking about is people making stuff up about the leaked version to make themselves feel better. That's just sad.

Re: This will please the patient people - Keyzia - 22-05-2009 06:32 AM

the leaked version isn't buggy. i've played it. not on my computer though. & it has no viruses. people just said those things so that other people wouldn't download it. i don't really care if people download it as long as they buy it when it actually comes out. i don't know why people are acting like the world is ending. it's a game.

also, i don't really feel bad for playing before it's out since it was supposed to be out like 4 months ago.
