I will start with making compleately new families, and wait until I know how I like the game and learn more before I make my self-sim or recreate favourite sims from Sims 2. I also want to wait until there are good CC out there. I mean like more real looking skin tones and eyes. The Sims 3 skins look too cartoonish to me.
I made my self-sim too early in Sims 2, so I lived and died before I knew all the fun I could do, and before I had any expansions. I didn't want to make another "me" later, because it would have felt wrong because you can't live twice in real life. I don't want it to happen again in Sims 3. {unsure}

I am going to remake some of them. I had to make a new neighborhood due to some really bad problems with my first neighborhoof. I didnt get to play them much so I will remake them for the Sims 3.

I will remake one of my sims. But I can't even play the sims 2 now its so boring I get mad when I can't walk out side. I can't wait until Tuesday.

I havent played the sims2 in about a year and a half...so I know for sure..im not remaking anybody..jus gone start off fresh...however..the only person from the sims 2 who will be on the third one is ME lol..i do miss the sims 2..it was fun in its days..but you got to upgrade..

I do tend to agree. Actually, the look for the new Sims reminds me of the graphic style for Everquest 2. I think you'll either love it or hate it, it looks kind of plastic to me. I really liked the real skin tones and eyes that people made for sims 2, some of that work was so lifelike it was fantastic!
