Because the hospital is a job, if we get the option to have a hospital option, it will most likely be a rabbit hole. I just assume they will disappear into a taxi and be whisked off, or you could have the option of another adult (the father) drive them to the hospital and disappear for three days.
I can see the same for someone who is really sick and can afford to stay in the hospital. These sims can afford someone to take care of their kids while they are away, and you as the player can play other families since the days will progress with the seamless neighborhood. Poor sims would have to find the means of taking care of themselves by buying cold remmidies from the stores.
Maybe even a family doctor can help them.

Yeah I do like this idea. I think if the mother was to go into labour at home, the husband would phone the ambulance, they'd take her into hospital and there should be a "Special Events" scene, but not a gory one... So maybe just a quick scene of the nurse handing the baby to the mother and the mother looking a bit tired and then getting extremely happy when she sees the baby.
It would be cool if you could have pre-mature babies etc.

Yeah, the special events camera (if we get them) would be cool to show the Sims at home what the s3x was, twins, boy girl etc. And maybe it will raise the mood for the sims at home. I dunno about the premmies. But if so, I would like to see a chubby and smaller babies, but I guess that won't happen becuz sims will only get fat or thin if you make them that way, or they get into shape/ loose weight.

I would love for the hospital to be somewhere they go when they have a baby more realistic..
and i know we wont be able to follow but im sure a little graphic thing will show like in ts2.
never know
but it sounds likea great idea.
