I'd do it but I never have the time to make a big sentence like that.

Re: Random Writing. - Cassie - 05-09-2009 09:46 AM

Well, most people would write a sentence or two. Because I get really into it, I write a some big block paragraph. Tongue

Oh, well I could manage that XD

I ALWAYS used to do that in 8th grade english lol. The teacher would write on the board how christmas was or how we feel about something and asked for 2 paragraphs but I'd give her 2 pages XD

I admire you for that.
You're just like me. XD
I'm not a nerd, except for in English. Tongue
The teachers were always reading my work out [which got to be very embarrassing sometimes], or holding up the sheets in front of the class and counting a new world record of pages, and people just got totally used to it. {rolleyes}
The strongest and most prominent compliment I ever got from a teacher was in Y8, about 4 years ago now, I wrote a story for RS that was based on these two brothers [totally forget it now, but there was a good brother and a greedy brother or something I think....], all he wanted was a paragraph with our own brief version, I wrote a 10-page [I think it was 10, give or take a page] story with my own characters, and he said it was the best work he'd ever read from any of his students, particularly someone so young, and that I could be the next Jo Rowling [he didn't even know I loved HP so this was pure golden awesomeness].

I practically skipped home that day. I also got a book voucher. Tongue

LOL tbh apart from when it concerns creative writing, I rarely got a single compliment in school. XD

Wow, you must be pretty darn good.

I am kind of like that but I don't go overboard. Not to say that's overboard either. x]

Tbh I love English. It's really the only subject that I'm good and that I enjoy a part from design.

He was a nice man, so he was probably over-exaggerating [with the Jo Rowling comment]. Tongue
I loved English but I'm only average at it, the only bit I'm good at is creative writing really. I'm desperate to finish this story I'm writing and get it published but I always reread my work and compare it to all the authors I've ever read and scrap it. -_-
