[size=8pt]I think the delay has given me a little more time to research on the game. I mean, I wasn't going to buy it when it first came out, but. . . now that it's been delayed and I have more time to save a little money for it, I'll probably go and get it.
It's just given me some time to realize what a better version it's going to be. If I would have never found this fourm, then I wouldn't know about TS3. And if TS3 hadn't been delayed, I would have never learned more about the game before buying it.
So. . . in my case, it's good (: I wasn't hyping over the game in the first place, so the delay didn't hurt me much. it just helped. now I do want to buy the game<333

Over at another forum for the sims we started a petition about the delay. No it isnt sayong early release date we just want EA to know that we are hurt. >:-(

I dont think that you understand. They arent going to fix the game. Its all wrapped up and packaged already. They might work on a patch. They better be working on an EP!

i was thinking about ea delaying the game and maybe it isnt for adveritisment reason, it could be, but they will be making millions from this game so they would want the game out fast so why would they delay it when most of the sims fans who will be buying the sims3 already know about the game. They could just be saying there delaying it because of advertisment because they have a big problem with the game and just dont want to say for whatever reasons. but i dont no im probably wrong but its just a thought (:

I think EA is too lazy to make those many copies. {lol} it's a paradox here. THey want to sell the game, but the best thing they could do is releasing the game at the said date and advertising it afterwards until summer. we would buy it now as we knew about it from all over the net, and the new fanbase will check it by curiosity after seeing the advertisements. they will think for a while, then go to the store and buy it without waiting too much.
I'm no expert in marketing, but at least I know what makes sense. {unsure}
