Well... I can understand why some people would say that... it is actually kind of reasonable in some cases. Some people would consider Kerli somewhat 'Emo' (in a very light sense) and she is classed as Pop/Rock/Alternative. I have heard Pop/Rock classed as Alternative a lot of time, too.

i hate rihanna (sp?) too!
1. she looks too old for chris brown and so they look weird together (not that i like him ewww but still)
2. she sings through her nose
3. her songs that were good got overplayed so now they annoy me

they call alternative emo because some of it is.... i dont know. watch some fall out boy on youtube and haters will post comments saying they're emo sellouts {rolleyes}

Wow. I really do need to visit this site more. I didn't expect to find a thread on Music at all, it's a pleasant surprise. x3; {walkman}
It seems people keep bringing up Disney artists, though. xD I can't stand any of them, except the Jonas Brothers, but I even have a little dislike in me for them. I can't stand how they ruined classic Disney songs that I love, and I don't really like the way any of them sing. (Though I give them a bit of credit for having songs that stick to your head until you finally remember the words, or listen to something better.)
I keep seeing Demi's little concert clip on TV (every freakin' day x_X), and she seems to yell more than sing. x_x;

The Jonas Brothers are the only ones I think have decent voices, and some of their songs are fun to listen to. I'll just never be able to forgive the Disney Channel/Music section of the company or Disney artists for ruining the songs I grew up with and still love. (I'll always be a fan of Disney movies. That's unavoidable, and the music actually IN the movies. Unless of course it's done by a Disney artist I don't like. x_X; Bleh.)
