Yeah maybe ur right. It just that every sim ep etc I played deceived me, especially with the active pics...but yeah, since the neighborhood is now alive. I guess that could work out that way...and if it dont. I could randomly just drop by a house and get some sims to hang out at a certain area.

Well tangy, the huge difference is "supposedly" every Sim we aren't playing in ts3 will have free roam.
In ts2, they were programmed (forced) to walk by your home or forced to go to lots. The Sims 3 is at more better sounding.
There are tons of community lots, one of the "needs" is still entertainment or fun, I figure since no one is playing those sims, they have to fulfil it in order to keep afloat.
Ts2 had a tredmill hampster cage feel to it. Everyone did the same thing in due time. The expansions weren't necessarily misleading. You knew whe you bought it that sims were hampsters just with added clothing, objects and options. They were still Sims, just more crap piled on. Unless free will was on, they waited for you. This game is entirely open ended and now we can sit back and watch if wed like.
There are things you may or may not do depending on your mood, traits etc.
I'm positive it will be thriving, its a seemless hood, something is supposed to always happen. And with expansions, it'll only get better imho.

Wait until the first two weeks of the release. We are going to be on here like mad!
I'm looking forward to the million posts of questions, opinions and just plain old random jibberish about how kewl the game is.
Those poor late bloomer sims are going to go mad until they are forced to buy it.

I can't wait till the release and after the release.
All I am gonna do is be on the game, and be on here when I wake up on the morning before school. at my job, when I get home from my job, and when I go to bed.
Plus I have to do homework and study for test, which sucks, but Feb. is pretty close to summer though.
Shoo...I may be playing TS3 on my laptop at work.
