Overall, even IF it is the retail version it would be wise to remove it before June 2.

As if those who have been playing with the SecuROM and haven't blocked it from phoning home will most likely have the game corrupted on June 2 by EA. And if that happens it may affect how to real game works on the computer, since if it IS the retail version many of the files will be the same and so on.

Wouldn't that be the final kick in the pants from EA if they made anyone who downloaded buy a patch which would let them run the real game?  {lol} Money-Grubbers.  {glare}

Personally even though I don't support downloading and am not participating in this swash-bucketing...it is quite maniacally funny to see EA get what it deserves.... {clap}

SecuROM is easily cracked. The version leaked was the digital version which will all have it.

Oh good, this is good. XD
I can tell the leak version has problems 'cause mine keeps crashing. I was always going to buy it day of release anyhoo, just wanted to play it a little earlier too. I hope the full version we're gonna get soon doesn't have this problem. Smile
I can however spend lots and lots of time in CAS! I'm going to use these last few days before the game is out to practice with CAS.
It is amazing! But very confusing!

Can't wait for this game to come out! EA's done a fantastic job! Smile

LOL thanks.
CAS goes into so much detail it's overwhelming. Tongue

People, I don't think this is the version that will be shipped to us from June 2nd, personally. It IS very full. It has all the features and the graphics are great. It's just the bugs are very apparent.

Bring on June 5th! XD

I think it's kinds BS to download it when it's just a few weeks away.
I mean c'mon we waited several months for the game to come out. And some people can't wait just a few more weeks?
I get that you want to play it just to see how it's like buti blame EA for not coming out with a Betw verison. That's the least they can do for delaying the game.

Re: This will please the patient people - Cassie - 22-05-2009 04:29 PM

Wow... people are very negative here, haha. Tongue
I'm glad I downloaded the leak and got a taster anyway. Now I can assure myself of the awesomeness to come. I've experimented with CAS, I love it.
Now I'm gonna take the leak off my computer and wait for the game on June 5th like I planned. Like most people I don't like that so many people downloaded the leak, myself included, but I never intended to keep it for long. I do think a few people need to lighten up though. What someone does is their decision and therefore there problem after all. No need to get so angry.
I just wish it never got leaked in the first place. Stupid leaky-people. {rolleyes}

I'm 100% with [removed] here. Sorry Cassie and anyone else who downloaded. I'm as impatient as the next person, and am eager as hell to get my hands on the game, but I would never download it for a 'taster' even if it was just for a day Sad

Like you said though Cassie, It's your own decision, and everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and this is just mine.

Is it just me, or are the shadows wrong?! Look at the shadow of the Sim and look at those of the trees... ???

EDIT: Wait, it could be the perspective of the tree that I'm viewing wrong, it's probably fine {yes}

Cassie I understand what you mean. But still. Get my point like I to yours? Wink
I'm tempered to download it but I heard it takes forever. So I don't want to plus it ruins everything. Like a child on Christmas day.
