Maybe your secret ingredient is love.  I don't feel love, only temporary attachment for my sims.  When they get old, they are out the legacy.

My sims do not look near as adorable as everyone else's, and I have custom hair and skin.

I agree that you love your Sims, Majick. I'm like yummybunny; I only temporarily love a certain Sim, then I quit the game, abandon them and make a new Sim. I want to truly love my Sims. D:

I dunno why I get so attached to my Sims ^_^;

And it's not all of them, either.

There are always certain Sims that I get attached to. Usually it's the first born ... sometimes it's the second.  I am not entirely sure what it is about a Sim that makes it my favorite.

But yes, I do love ALL my sims, even if some more than others, LoL!
