Um..simmies I found something out that might come to some truth about it being delayed. Not sure, but um, Im really confused now. According to Game Informer online, they have the release date for The Sims 3 scheduled for April 7th, which is a Tuesday.

A lot of sites have changed their dates, most just say "early 2009". I don't think we should worry about it, for all we know they could be taking Kate's word for it as she was at the camp.
Sites are still taking pre-orders for the 20/2/09 as well.

It's quite interesting but I'd take everything she said with a pinch of salt if I where you. She's definitely a CC creator more than she is a Sims player, she's very skeptic about how CC will be created and she's not so happy about Create-A-Style [sub](maybe because it'll be easy for anyone to create new clothing, since it might make CC creators less popular)[/sub].
Her argument for the delay is that it's still buggy. And that's pretty much it. Don't put too much faith in that part. Remember, she has reasons for wanting it to be released later than planned.

her review of creator camp seems to bitter for me especially the cas review I am with you maiden it seems she is worried about cc creators will no longer be as popular.

Exactly, I think she might have gotten a bit of "I-am-so-great"ism (there is a perfect word for this in Swedish but I can't find a good translation {glare}) from her success as a creator. She's probably worried that it's all going to disappear... A bit childish if you ask me.

Yea it is plus it seems she wants the game to still be like sims 2. She didn't like the sims new interface,cas,complained alittle abit on the new home maker interface,and the neighborhood.

its not going to be delayed. i was listening to a podcast by one of the creators were there. and they said yea their games are buggy but they have an older version of the game that they are working on. and the developers have a newer version with some of the bugs out and features that weren't working in the creators camps version. so idk what her problem was. everything seem very sarcastic... a very bitter

Well, we're not believing in them. Kate seems really untrustworthy on this point so I don't see why we should.

Yes, plus, i've got some flyers that came with hte EP's and Sp's of TS2, and they say February the 20th. They can't change the date.
