I'm not super excited about it either since I got it.

But I think I just expected to much, I mean I have been hyping this game up in my head for YEARS. The only way it could live up is if Buddha and God jumped out of the computer doing the can can with Ben Bell.  Tongue

I downloaded the game a while ago and before I and I hated it. I didnt like the camera but now that I know that you can change the settings I hope that it will be better. After I uninstalled it I said that I would not even open the pre ordered copy when I recieve it.
Since then my mind has changed (because they said that it was the beta version) so I hope that my copy of the game is better.

Dang.  That really sucks for all of you.  But yeah, TS3 was overhyped...we did expect too much from it, but it's a great game in my opinion.  Been playing it for 2 hours.  It's like TS2 with more intelligent sims, the seamless n-hood, less needy, and universal aging.

You can change that in options so that when you move to the side it will scroll. I forgot exactly which option but it is there.

So, after playing around with the settings and spending about 45 minutes trying to change the settings (yeah, you need to restart all the time), I have no more lag...WOO! I figured out that I was enabling an aspect I can't run because my graphic card doesn't have it...lol.

And thank you for telling me how to fix the scrolling.

It works great...after some more playing around I will be much happier!

Now if only there is a way to tell you what color each object is...I'm colorblind!

hopefully my mom get me a new comp soon she said the end of the summer.  the game  kept making my desktop crash so i installed it on my laptop and the graphics r worse than the sims1 but it still runs even though its slow and i find it hard to play i on a laptop but ill just have to wait till the end of the summer to form an opinion on it.

We will keep that in mind if you upload items to the exchange.  Big Grin

I am glad you work some of your problems out. EA has never been great with their help files.
