I think that Kate lady didn't attend the camp, I think she just use that an excuse just to create the rumor.

It's quite interesting but I'd take everything she said with a pinch of salt if I where you. She's definitely a CC creator more than she is a Sims player, she's very skeptic about how CC will be created and she's not so happy about Create-A-Style [sub](maybe because it'll be easy for anyone to create new clothing, since it might make CC creators less popular)[/sub].
Her argument for the delay is that it's still buggy. And that's pretty much it. Don't put too much faith in that part. Remember, she has reasons for wanting it to be released later than planned.
Personally, considering what I've seen, I think that the new CAS is probably the greatest improvement and the part I am the most excited about. It looks like a huge improvement to me, and I think she's just being bitter.

She did attend the camp.
I don't think they intended anybody to read the post. They should have PMed one another. It has sure caused a stir in the community.

I went to EB games today and he told me that it was delayed until August!!!
I know that we should not believe anything till EA comes out with a statement, but...why would the EB guy lie?

EB Games everywhere are getting things mixed up.
Look on the BBS, stores are saying anything, but it still remains the 20th.
The EB Games guy don't know anything, he says what he sees on the screen.

I agree with suggie everysite has diffrent release dates,but so far ea hasn't said that it has been delayed. I think this has been blow out of proportion. Plus eb games sometimes gets their release dates wrong.

So if the date for release is still the 20th and EB has gotten itself all muddled up, will they still receive the game on the 20th for those who pre-ordered or not? {blink}
How hard is it for stores to remember one date... {glare}

Yes, it will...most likely the 21st, since they like to list the shipping date as the release date.
Stores will get the release date right when the game goes gold or right before the release, like a week or two before.
And that girl was forced to delete that topic she made about it delaying...lol.
