Re: The Official Book Thread - bobert26 - 24-11-2009 05:10 AM How did you learn Turkish? I want to go to Istanbul
Re: The Official Book Thread - serp3821 - 24-11-2009 05:19 AM Me too! Istanbul uhm, its easy the Turkish words are written like in English KonuÅuyorum bazı Türk (I can speak some Turkish) but its really hard because you put words together like lets say um, the bear (ayı) if you say, I saw the bear it would be like this (Ben ayı gördüm) get it? its still hard for me though Re: The Official Book Thread - phoebe91 - 24-11-2009 05:36 AM My writing teacher reads the dictionary at lunch if he has nothing to read... Anyways, that's cool with the languages Steven ^_^ I used to take Latin but unfortunately I only remember namen est Phoebe xDD... and namen is most likely spelt wrong XDD Re: The Official Book Thread - serp3821 - 24-11-2009 05:54 AM I would love to take Latin lol, we should move this to an official language thread

I'm tired of only knowing handfuls of various languages. I used to be quite good at Spanish, but those days are fast leaving me behind. I want to learn Spanish, Italian and French. And possibly Latin. Fluently. :] I'm dying to read a book, particularly HP, in a different language. Re: The Official Book Thread - bobert26 - 26-11-2009 04:54 AM I think I'd like to buy the French version of DH.. I guess it might be in Quebec! {woot} Re: The Official Book Thread - serp3821 - 26-11-2009 05:04 AM yes yes, but the French Canadian is not exactly as the French in France Bobert but thats the closest you can get I suppose
