I'm going to try and get an update done tonight. No promises, but I'll try ^_^ Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - Majick - 12-01-2009 01:59 AM I've got enough pictures for 2 decent sized updates. I'm going to do them tomorrow when I get home from work I need to do some organizing and whatnot lol

See what I did there? Heh Heh? lol I have $31 but my mom won't let me spend money to fix our computer, heaven forbid that I use my money for something useful. Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - yummybunny - 12-01-2009 04:57 AM Well, priorities first. The breaks are important. But don't worry, you'll get it fixed in time. Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - b-rad - 12-01-2009 11:00 PM Probably like a year after the Sims3 comes out, and I will have it all that time lol But still, I don't see why I can't spend [b]my money on it....... Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - yummybunny - 12-01-2009 11:47 PM Well, when I was smaller, my mom wouldn't let me spend my money on certain stuff because: 1. She was planning on doing it herself soon, either to surprise me or just because she planned to. or 2. They just don't want you to have something at that moment. For example, my brother wanted a game system, but my mom won't let him have it, because he wouldn't do his work or his priorities. or 3. Probably your mom really can't afford it. Usually if not much is spent on entertainment and recreation in a family, it is a sign of financial struggle or just saving up for something. Like when I was in a private school, my mom could not buy much for us, because it was so expensive. Like did she say it was okay for you to have the game? If so, option #2 can be taken out. Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - b-rad - 13-01-2009 02:35 AM My mom is getting me the game lol. But, I can pay for over half the cost of the repair, but she won't let me. I've learned to stay away from the topic though. Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - yummybunny - 13-01-2009 02:51 AM So, I guess that she is getting it fixed soon, because she is buying you the game, and you must had been talking about it a lot, if she knows when the game comes out (does she?). If she knows when it comes out, and she's buying you the game, she must plan on getting the computer repaired. (She may just want to surprise you or she is planning on it soon) Looks more like #1, since she should know that your computer has to work in order to play the game she's getting you. Re: ¤ The Summerstone Family â The Official Thread ¤ - b-rad - 13-01-2009 02:55 AM True, but that might not be true though. I bought the Sims2 Apartment Life right before our computer broke, and it was never installed. If she was going to get it fixed as a surprise, then it would be fixed by now, so that I could play the game that I just got. But once I get the Sims3, I wont even notice the Sims2 stuff that I got. I want to seel Apartment Life and get my $30 back, but what if my computer gets fixed before then? |
