Re: The Official Movie Thread! - Majick - 29-10-2009 02:00 AM I have no desire to see any of the Saw movies ... I hate movies that don't try to scare you, they just want to see how gory they can be. They go for the gross-factor more than suspense/horror. Currently though I am watching the Original King-Kong movie, from 1933. It's so weird watching a black and white film with such poor special effects. Although, for 1933 this was like OMGAMAZINGYAY! xD And as far as stop-motion goes, it's still pretty good even by today's standards. Re: The Official Movie Thread! - bobert26 - 29-10-2009 03:51 AM I think that might be the one movie that can't live up to it's remake. I've only seen part of the 1933 one but Peter Jacksons version is simply beautiful in everyway. But I do like a plot. Re: The Official Movie Thread! - bobert26 - 29-10-2009 10:40 PM Saw is basically just a bunch of messed up people running around a house and dying. I like the Ring. It's scary. Re: The Official Movie Thread! - 2qewl4u - 30-10-2009 01:09 AM Yeah, I like the ring as well but it doesn't really scare me as much Re: The Official Movie Thread! - bobert26 - 30-10-2009 02:31 AM I know. It scared me when I was seven, though It's the reason why I unplug my tv every night before I go to bed
