I don't know, to be honest...I haven't watched a lot of SpongeBob episodes, lately, so it's hard for me to remember...but I do know that the later episodes are quite cheesy, yes.

Going back to the old Disney... well, it was split between old and new for me, because when I was a baby, I never had DC, then when I was about 3 I got it, we kept it until I was about 9 or 10 after we started suffering bigger money issues but I later convinced mum to get it back when I was 13 (though it doesn't look like we'll be having it for much longer anymore, again... {rolleyes}) so for me it divides into 'old' and 'new', new being now and old being when I used to have it, and I have to agree, I thought 90's Disney (even very early 2000's - 2000 to 2002) was much better.

I won't lie, I love Disney. I love it's cheesiness and it's happiness and it is quite the home for cute boys. {wub} The show that most irritates me is Hannah Montana. I do love the show, I just dislike how little depth the characters have and how... similar each episode is. It's always about who Miley likes or her friendship with Lily or her secret nearly being revealed, and it's getting tedious now. {yawn} It could be a lot better if the characters and storylines got a little deeper and they were more creative.

I used to watch Lizzie McGuire when it was in its prime ALL the time when I was little. It's a classic. But what bugs me now is how false everything was about it. It was kind of shallow. All about getting the fittest boy in school to like you (and pfft, Ethan Craft is a lousy school hottie, if I were Lizzie I would have chosen Gordo over him any day {tongue}), trying to fit in, follow cliques and be popular, obsessing over how you look and how you're perceived by others... I mean, it's all good to go over those things and whatnot, but there was never like.... any moral to it. Any lesson learned, if you see how I mean.

Agreed. With all of it.

Besides, everyone loves the things they grew up with on a different level. Wink

That's what I've always said. I've always been a smidge irritated when people are adamant that the older programs were better when I know they only say that because they grew up with it, but that would make me a hypocrite. Hehe. {rolleyes}

Hehe, too true. It's the same with most childhood memories, actually.

I miss that past, I want to be a kid again, when you didn't have to worry about anything and life was just trips to the seaside, ice cream and having fun! Big Grin

You're right about the Lizzie McGuire thing. Ethan was soooo ugly. {rolleyes} XD Haha jk. Well he was ugly but I agree with the other things too.
