And it bugs me that they added no new lifestages!
true, they added young adult into the basegame, but that was probably the least needed lifestage! I wanted Preteens!

I know, and the tsr thingie says that adults will now be more middle aged, so it works out okay.

Yeah, at first I was kind of like 'Urgh. no new lifestages' but if you think about it... we kind of have two. The young adult in TS2 wasn't so much a 'lifestage' like the others were. Young adult is now the default lifestage (ages 18 to 30) meaning it's the 'main' one. And Adult is technically middle-aged (31 to say, 50 years? 60?). So that's sort of like two new interesting lifestages. The only thing we're really missing now is pre-teen.
Hmm, I just realised! I guess that means we can have two mums, young mummies and older mummies! Lol.

I'm glad to know how the traits work out!
I was kind of worried, I know pregnant Sims actions affect unborn Sims, so I was worried my baby would get stuck with the 5 permanent traits all thanks to mom.
But I love how they get more traits as they go, I don't have to worry about giving my kids a whole slew of traits and then changing my mind when they grow up some. Perfect!
I also like the idea of wishes too. Like you can choose to fulfill them or ignore them. Wants were so annoying to me. They would want something that just didn't fit in with my bigger plan for things, and then they would get all down about it. UGH! Haha!
Moodlets sound awesome too! Oh, you're upset because you stink. Well, lets get you a shower. Haha.
I actually like the chosen age groups. Preteen wouldn't be a very long stage anyways. I am completely happy that now Adult Sims will really represent middle age. No more, hey, I look twenty, and now I spin around and become an elder, and now I look 90! Heh.
It's a big step up. Even those who really want preteens should be very excited :]
