Daycare making no sense - Devynn - 22-12-2011 07:15 PM

My sim runs a daycare and she's at level 5. Well the last two working days the kids' parents never showed up. The first time she was watching only one child so the kid just spent the night and went to school in the morning, no big deal. The second time there were 3 toddlers, 2 children, and a problem child. The parents never showed up. I had just fed all the kids dinner and the two normal children showed themselves to bed and I was offering the problem child a bedtime story. His mood was "going south" and he was having no fun. (Which I really didn't care he broke just about everything in my house) when all of a sudden he vanished and my sim's license was revoked because a child starved to death under her care. Turns out it was the problem child.... but he had just eaten not even a sim hour before.

Is all this normal or is my daycare glitched somehow?

Did you patch the game recently? There's been a lot of screwed up game play since the last patch, hence why I never touched it (it was more about putting adverts in the game, but appears to have caused a number of problems).

Good to see you back after such an absence Devynn, come tell us what you've been up to in Off Topic!

Wink

I only did because I had hoped it would fix the crashing problem, I usually avoid patches if there is nothing wrong with the game. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it."

Thanks, hopefully they fix this soon.
