what if there were drug addicts i mean jif every body wants it so real drug addicts are just as commin if not more then teen pregnacy and u kno the game doesnt have 2 be just like life i mean its a game and this was just a thought not that i want it i do in some ways and i dont in some ways i mean it cant be justv like real life and its these games that give u that imaganary place you kno

Yes, more reality is what we want in the sims but we don't want sexualy explicit content, contraband, and things that are just plain tasteless and bad. They would not only cause half the people (young adults and children) to not be allowed to buy or play, EAxis will have suit, a pon suit on their hands. Grand Theft Auto is a great game for that though.

First off, that would raise the rating of the game, I'm sure. And secondly ...
That is one aspect of the real world most simmers DON'T want.
Personally, I'd be offended by EA if they thought adding Drugs and making sims Addicts was a good idea. I've lost my brother to drugs, and it's not something I'd ever want to see in my game, no matter how realistic it may be.
That level of Realism does NOT belong in this game; I seriously doubt Will Wright, a father himself, would want children, or anyone for that matter, to get the wrong impressions about how drugs affect a persons life, by tossing something so low class into this game.
There's Realistic, than there's Rediculous.

The game is rated T for Teen for a reason. I don't think that should be in the sims. I have seen younger kids play this game and I would hate to see them get the wrong idea. Maybe they shouldn't be playing the game in the first place, but you still have to be careful. I think prescription drugs and stuff would be a good addition to the game, though.

Putting drugs into the game would be in awful taste. I agree that it is one of several aspects of the real world that the majority of simmers would not want in their games.
