That's actually happened to me. Only once, though. She actually gave birth right after she got back from work.
It was...weird...
Isn't it funny how these weird glitches keep popping up?

Mine has given birth straight after work! Except... she was never pregnant. ???
One moment she was doing those conceited poses they do when they are doing well in their job, and next, a baby is popping out! I don't know what happened there... {blink}

maybe his sim was poor and really needed the money for the new baby so she went to work anyway?

Sometimes since it says the "3 days vacation" thing, and the car doesn't come, they just take the car.
