I don't know if this has been brought up here or not, but on another forum, they were discussing what happens when the townies get married and have babies. Do you get to name the children or is there some random generator that just assigns them a name.
And is it possible for the town to become over populated?

Oooh, Interesting. They will probably have a generator that will generate their names.
As for the town becoming overly populated, it depends on the birth rates and death rates I suppose and can't some sims move out of town too? So that will free up some space! (:

My guess is random generation of names by the game.
And that is a good point, overpopulation could be a serious problem.
But I guess that the game will keep this under control as well, by allowing the old folk to pass on.

you get to name the new family member because like one time one of the calliente girls got pregnant and had a baby i named it emma

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. If you are playing a family you can't really be bothered to name the other 50 kids that are popping up around the neighbourhood, I think EA would make a random name generator to be honest.

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. If you are playing a family you can't really be bothered to name the other 50 kids that are popping up around the neighbourhood, I think EA would make a random name generator to be honest.

what do u mean fifty kids just because people in the nieghbor hood will age at the same time dose not mean they will have children at the same time

All I'm saying is... if ANY of them even DARE to name their kid GOOPY, they will have some serious shoutings from me!

I didn't say that but one might have twins one day then another might have one kid the next day then another might have twins the next day, so every day you're naming kids, that would be pretty annoying imo.
