Howdy! As you can tell, I'm new here; however, I plan on mostly being in this part of the forums. So, I just have one question. What is a legacy? What makes it different from a story of your family? I await answers.

in simple terms its just generations upon generations
but theres a whole special game-challenge way of doing it..i just dont know the link to all the rules...
im sure someone will post it though.

Hi MythMonster2.
A legacy is as Chalyssa suggested, just building upon generations. But, a legacy and 'the legacy challenge' are two different things. The challenge requires rules, such as no cheats, and you get points for certai events and such occuring.

In my opinion, regular legacies are much more fun. But to each their own.
You could try making one, if you want. Seems they're all the rage now.

Well, if you're bored as playing normally, a good challenge can sound fun. But it does get boring after a while, and very restricting. I prefer normal legacies too.

Yes, they do come in handy when I get really bored. I've finished about 7 legacy challenges so far.

So, most people here do normal legacies and not challenges?

It seems that way, yes. But there are plenty of people who feel that regular legacies are just too much work. They prefer to do the challenges.
I, personally, think it's the other way around. But I suggest trying them both out, if you're interested, and deciding for yourself.
And if you do decide to make a regular legacy, feel free to share it with us. We love them, here.
