Like I downloaded a hairstyle and I went to create a sim and i was looking for the hairstyle and I couldn't find it. How do I make my sim wear it?
I have a Mac. [if it matters for this situation]

CC needs to be copied and pasted into the downloads file... Does that make sense?

I don't think there's a difference between installing CC on a Mac vs installing it on a PC. They're most likely the same.
Anyhoo, like the wonderful member before me said, the downloads need to be placed in the Downloads subfolder for your Sims 2 game. There are tons of tutorials for this on places like MTS2.com and such, but if none of those help, let me know and I'll try to walk you through it.
