The way the trailers was is the exact same thing I thought it would be.Like the narrator saying how the sims lived in TS2 and then it busts out into the sims 3 world.I thought it was pretty cool.I had know idea how it was going to be since Maxis is so random.What did you think the trailer would be about?

I didn't really had an idea about how it would look. I did thought just like you elm1230, that somebody would say something about The Sims 2, and that eventually Sims 3 would 'pop up'. I like the trailer! Although, the Sims don't look SO much better then the Sims in Sims 2. But, that isn't a bad point in my case because, other wise the game would be TOO realistic I guess.

i think the sims look great
and i liked the way sims looked in TS2
when TS2 trailer was released it was mostly about the aging and the new look of the sims which was the main change in TS2
so with a sims 3 trailer i did expect it to be more about the ability to go outside and the seamless Nhood since that is the main change in TS3

The graphics have still improved. There are some pictures of TS3 that have beautiful graphics.
