Gaahh. I'm worried. :-/ - Chanel - 04-10-2008 01:58 AM

I'm not sure if I've told you before, but I'll go ahead and tell...

I have REALLY bad allergies. I had allergy shots every week for about four years. I also had medication every day for five years. But none of that helped me, and after a while the shots made me worse and the medication became useless, so I had to go see an ENT specialist. It turns out I needed my adenoids removed. Actually, nothing was wrong with my tonsils... But they removed those, too, because "they often enlarge after the adenoid operation". Undecided Anyways, moving on.

That helped for a few months. But then towards July and August it was useless. I started getting sick with the exact same thing, every month, ALL OVER AGAIN! So on Tuesday I have to go to the stupid ENT again. I think something is really wrong with me and they're going to have to remove something else. Grr, I knew one surgery would lead to another, then another, then another! My best friend is like that. :-| Just thought I'd vent...

Aw, I'm sorry! I hope you find what's going wrong soon though, so that it isn't constantly surgery.

Thanks guys.
Anyways, yeah, I don't wanna end up like my friend, having surgery two times a year. :-| I could just feel it, I think I'm going to have surgery.

Sad Hope you can get everything figured out without surgery, I have lots of allergies as well, back in April-May I was visiting doctors and allergists almost weekly. I discovered I was severely allergic to

Raw - carrots, celery, tomatoes, apples, cherries, peaches, plums, potatoes

Tree Nuts [severe (have epi-pen)] - Almonds, Hazelnuts, Brazil nuts, Walnuts, Cashews.

Grasses (severe)

Trees (severe)

Dustmites (the european house dustmites)

Gawsh...
I don't have any food allergies.
I'm allergic to cats year-round, all plants in allergy season, dust... {mellow}

Oh, I forgot to add those:

-Cats, Dogs, Horses (very severe), Cows (lol),

Another food is cheese, but only cheese. Milk and other lactose products are ok.

Wow, many allergys there Scott. I feel sorry for you both. I hope all goes well, and chyeah. Lucky for me, that i'm either not allergic to anything, or that we haven't found what i'm allergic to. It must be a pain in the butt, huh?

Re: Gaahh. I'm worried. :-/ - Chanel - 04-10-2008 02:47 AM

Whoa, you're allergic to a lot!
And dogs? D: I would be so depressed if I was allergic to dogs. Sad
