Sim wants to move to bigger house - norwood - 31-10-2008 08:34 PM He's reached the top of his career and the game advised me to move to a bigger house (I'm starting to store things on the lawn, because there's no more room inside). Will I lose all of my belongings? Re: Sim wants to move to bigger house - Rena - 31-10-2008 10:40 PM The only way to keep your belongings is to put them into your inventory. Anything else that's left in the house (furniture and belongings wise) will be sold for Simoleons. Hope I helped! xx Re: Sim wants to move to bigger house - Majick - 01-11-2008 12:04 AM If you have an EP such as OFB I believe, your sim should have an Inventory option (it looks like a backpack) that you can store your sims belongings in. Now, keep in mind that your sims Family Funds includes the cost of everything your sim owns. Say your screen shows that your sim has a family fund of 20k, if you moved your sim off that lot and onto another WITHOUT stashing your items away, you'd have the whole 20k, however, if you store belongings in the backpack, you'll need to subtract the costs of those items from the total worth. Example: Your sim shas 20k. You move without taking anything with you: 20k You move but take a bed, dresser, toilet, stove and refrigerator with you: 12k Because those items were saved, your sim actually only got the remaining monies available to it. Does that make sense? |
