Reinclude the locking doors system. If they do, then they should make it a whole lot better, like, instead of choosing groups of people, you choose certain people that can come in and out of them.
If they did that, you could make some makeshift apartments, cause sims are smarter now.
Come to think of it, do you think they will reinclude apartments? I loved apartment life, it got my sims out of the house doing things. ONnly the unseamlessness ruined it.

Makeshift apartments sounds like a good idea ^__^
You could build a huge lot, then use the roommate finding thing to get people to move in.

I had sooo many problems with the lock door. x_x I would be in my apartment and set it to household only but other people from the apartments from downstairs would run up inside my apartment and into my bathroom to throw up. it was soo horrible because I didnt have a maid/butler at the time. I eventually had to play with that one family because they were all sick with food poisioning. needless to say i evicted them for that.

Haha, that happened to me aswell. They really should've taken away the locking feature (for sims) on apartment doors.
But what i mean is, you could make a big household with different families. then, using the door locking feature, group thos families together in their family apartments.
If you did that, you could also have back doors on apartments aswell!

Well, I suppose it would be better than nothing. There's no need to waste a whole EP on apartments.
(i'm not saying apartment life was a bad EP, it was in fact my favourite, i'm just saying it would waste an EP in ts3, cause there's tons more ideas)

I think they will. people loved that feature.
wouldn't it be cool if you locked a door, and people had to have a key to go through it? Like, keep it in their invertories.
