I am curious as to how many people here will actually be creating content for the sake of adding it to the exchange for others to download, or to share via your own website instead maybe?
As a designer that has to be one of the things i'm looking forward too most about The Sims 3 - being able to create things and get them out there in the neighbourhoods of other Sims fans all over the world
I don't know whether to concentrate on one category of things first, such as homes... clothes... furniture... or whether to do all at once.
I am considering a new website for premium homes which can only be downloaded by one person, giving them a collectors item kind of appeal {unsure} Just like buying a real home - you would know you're the only person to have that home. May be a strange idea, but it'd be fun
So, what are your creative intentions?

I want to try to create things and share and download with/from others.
I want to start to try movie making, and a legacy (most likely private) that I want to try to keep up till TS3, and have pics of all the generations.
I hope that people can still go as far as mesh making for TS3.

No doubt mesh-making will still be possible, but may perhaps be a little more tricky this time around. We'll see

Probably not i never did that with the sims 2 and i dont intend to because it tends to be to much of a hassle for me... for some reason the sims 2 website never likes to agree when i wanna upload something

If they're good enough, sure! The only things I'll probably be able to upload are Sims themselves seeing as that's the only thing I'm decent at. XD
Making CC frustrates me as I can't do it very well so I'd just annoy myself to death if I pursued that path.

I'm pretty much the same as Cassie. I absolutely love making sims, but I can't make CC for the life of me.
I also plan on downloading some things around a month or two after I get the game. I want for it to be all my own for atleast a little while.
And I think your idea, simswebsite, for houses is cool.
