Do you think it will be hard to let go of your families when Sims 3 comes out? I keep asking myself whether i should uninstall the sims 2, or keep it on so i can visit my old families. I'm interested to see if any of you guys will have trouble letting go as well.

Yea I've been asking myself that question for a while but I think I might just keep them for a while and then play the sims 3 and try to recreate them in that game and see how it pans out.

I think it will be.

It's too bad they can't find a way to incorporate our current families into TS3, like they made possible to do with SimCity4 maps to TS2.  Could you imagine being able to carry on your Legacy Families from TS2 over to TS3?  That would be so freaking awesome!!!

its better than TS2?

Just remake the whole family and try to make it look and dress like them as much as you can
or you can make them younger (since the sims 3 people are younger than sims 2)

that's what im doing at least

First time posting.. yay.

Personally, I'm not going to have a problem letting go of my families. I like play out each of my next generations, so this won't be much different. I love the idea of a fresh start.  {lol} <- That's me being a spazz.

Didn't have much going for me before. I got bored of it years ago, so it's a pretty easy transition.    8)

Wow.  I guess it's just me, then :\  What a shame.

I get so attached to my Sims, even if they aren't real people.

I guess I'll keep working on my Legacies, and when the time comes ... I guess I can remake a Sim from TS2 in TS3 and continue the legacy from there ... I dunno.
