From all the posts on all kinds of forums coming from people that downloaded the ... (I don't wanna say the l word) - it is clear that they all have an extremely buggy beta version. I am so pleased. {clap}

on snootysims there were reports of bugs including a gay man-sim that got pregnant without trying for baby and then he was invisible during the pregnancy... funny bug in fact ... other people reported that the file structure in the code was odd, there was stuff that shouldn't be there, stuff that would only be there if it was a developer's version... and some files were marked with dates of as far back as april
that really indicates that what these folks have is not the version that went gold -> is not the version we are going to have.

Plus some apparently also have a version with SecuRom because they have the digital download version. To that I only have to say, enjoy SecuRom. It's a copy protection that can mess up files on your computer and give you some issues that have nothing to do with copy protection. That's why I would never buy the download version.

see i already figured it was the beta version due to securom. it's not supposed to be on the finished game. i was however included on the disks that were used for the fanevents. and many people already stated that that was a beta version. and even it does turn out to be the real version then meh i've already been waiting since february last year, i can wait 15 days...ironicly all this time i've been saying "i can't wait till i can play" but actually i can {lol}

Oh wow I'm glad I didn't download it. This serves those people right! It just like when you download a song of LimeWire you have the song, but it's nothing like if you were to buy it on iTunes.

All my LimeWire songs are exactly the same as the ones I would have paid for on iTunes, except free and some are even better quality ;3
