Are digital downloads unpopular? - Postito - 30-05-2009 11:06 PM I've noticed that very few people here are digitally downloading the game. There's not anything wrong with digital downloads right? Re: Are digital downloads unpopular? - gothika - 30-05-2009 11:09 PM You mean downloading them from the internet? It's illegal to download them
Re: Are digital downloads unpopular? - phoebe91 - 30-05-2009 11:22 PM Or do you mean digitally downloading it from the EA store? It's sometimes because of the internet connection. And sometimes its just that getting the actual CD version assures us to always being able to download it to the computer without worrying about somehow losing it online. I think with TS2, downloading it caused some differences when it came to patches and such, but I don't know if there is anything completely wrong with it. Re: Are digital downloads unpopular? - gothika - 30-05-2009 11:24 PM Oh if you mean by that. I don't think there is. But if you mean get it from other sites besides EA and without paying for it,it's illegal. Re: Are digital downloads unpopular? - sim323 - 31-05-2009 12:51 AM I might digitally download it but i ALWAYS digitally download sims 2 Ep's well ever since Freetime i have and i will continue to for Ep's Re: Are digital downloads unpopular? - Deja_Vu - 31-05-2009 02:19 AM Can you burn digitally downloaded games or do they make you pay extra for that? [/quote]Well, yeah, I know you can burn them illegally. There isn't much you can't burn illegal. ![]() I meant the legal way. Like with music. You can download the song but have to pay extra to burn it the legal way. I want to know if EA do the same thing. Re: Are digital downloads unpopular? - killerkenya - 31-05-2009 03:04 AM I'm sure there's nothing wrong with the game itself. But I like to always have the CD's. What if the internet cuts out while downloading? What if your hard drive gets fried and you lose it completely? How do you transfer it if you get a new computer? Why even bother figuring all of that out when you can get the CD and box for the same price?
