I played with my sim for a while and I found some asteroids and some rocks/metals that worth quite a bit. Apart from 'Analyze' I found no other interaction available and I need those Simoleons.
Does anyone have an idea what to do about it?

Maybe go to a store, and see if you can sell them?

In your inventory, you can drag it to the icon right below the cellular phone...that sells the items.
